Casa de la Renta is a six room luxury house in the heart of Cartagena's walled Old Town, where high ceilings, classic detailing and a magnificent balcony evoke the majesty and authentic charm of the city. It can be lived one room at a time or taken over entirely as a private home. This is not a hotel with a hundred doors. It is a single restored house on Calle Estanco del Tabaco in El Centro, with only six rooms and a maximum of twelve guests, which means the place can be booked individually, as a medium house, or as a full house. That flexibility is the edge: the intimacy and privacy of a private residence with the full service of a luxury hotel behind it. Concierge, catering, room service, turn-down, a rooftop with views across the cathedral spires of Cartagena, and a pool, all inside the historic core rather than outside it. Every room is different in size, mood and décor, so no two stays are the same.

- No. The house does not receive pets.
- Are there taxes or fees on top?
- Residents of Colombia pay IVA on their accommodation, as the law requires; foreign residents pay no tax on hotel accommodation. A small contribution to our impact fund is added to each stay. It makes no profit for the house: it goes to social and environmental projects in Cartagena and on Barú Island.

- By credit or debit card: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. A reservation is confirmed with the payment of the full value of the stay.
